Sushi with the ladies

So Maria Pagoulatos and Ileana Lopez-Vergne showed up for our meeting about The PACT. We took many snap "shots" while eating sushi. Old issues were discussed while new plans were made about future films. I purposely left the photos of me out.
I wasn't too disappointed that none of the guys showed up.

Noteworthy but sad

It has come to my attention that some the artists on my latest album have not been faring so well. The actors in the film that the album that is attached to are fine, however, some of the music talent have been hurting. Show them some love and good energy. 'Nuff' said however I haven't said enough...

Some Interesting News

I was so very fortunate to have worked with some extremely talented musical artists and actors on the last film. To thank the musical talent I (knowing they have signed the right papers and have full ownership of their music) have put together an eclectic volume 3 album from my latest films.

On this album and in the film are the musical stylings of the incomprehensibly brilliant Vilmarie Vega, and the sexy and intelligent Ms. Anissa Eve. I even threw in several of my mixes.

BTW - All these ladies are beautiful, talented, and are in my opinion true genius. This album can also be found on Amazon. My last album did not do so well so if you purchase this album do so for creative and expressive joy the artists and their work.

We had many guests that night including friends and family from not only our circles but from other filmmakers and film making schools in NYC. You can even see the promotional ads for the films and the theater in the background.

The Sisters Ortiz

Geneva A. Ortiz (pictured on the left) and her sister Wanda (on the right) are both extremely beautiful and talented actresses in the entertainment biz. Geneva is a devoted actress who somehow balances her very important family life with both a 9 to 5 career with her acting desires.  Geneva has also garnered a huge fan base on Facebook and IMDb while Wanda has gained skills as a make-up and hairstylist as well. Both are radiant and lovely conversationalists.

Several of us went to the event together. As special guests, GENEVA A. ORTIZ and Her sister WANDA, who will pop-up later on the blog, came with us to the premiere. It was fun and  those girls were smokin' hot!! OMG!!!

Our Last Event Was Captured By Bin Song Photography

We were very fortunate to have several photographers at our last event which was the premiere of THE P.A.C.T. at Anthology Film Archives. One of the photographers there was the very professional BIN SONG. She has a delicate yet detailed photography style that captures those moments often lost in time.

I will be posting over the next month one pic a day from the event. I will also be writing the occasional post so return daily to see new pics and other entertainment info.

P.A.C.T. Cast, Crew & Dear Associates

On April 14th, we will be premiering at Anthology Film Archives. It is very important that you reach out to those whom you feel are important to your career and to those you feel may enjoy seeing you perform right now. Two weeks may seem like a long time and Heaven knows that a lot can happen in that time frame but sometimes people need a reminder (even if they live in the area) about what you are doing and how to get there. For those of you who ordered promo materials you are way ahead of the pack so get it out there soon. For those of you who didn't "No Worries" cause sometimes word of mouth can kick just as hard as a well placed postcard or an ornery mule!
I have already began to invite agents and c.d.s so half the work is done. Also, several of your fellow actors have wisely done the same aiming specifically at the agencies that they feel are important.
Whatever the scenario, do what you can because this is your moment. Letting moments like this pass without taking advantage of them can just be a waste and delay of time. Truly, what belongs to you cannot be taken away from you if it is 'your destiny' yet why wait for the next 'shiny' moment when everything you need is right here - right now!

*NOTE - I cannot even guarantee that the crowd will enjoy the film. They may laugh when they should be sad or moan when something is not up to par BUT at least they will be there if you do your part and invite them through Facebook, Evite, or whatever means you feel necessary!!!*

JEFFERSON SANDERS (of THE P.A.C.T.) Dares You To Beat His Upper Body Routine. AND GUESS WHAT? You'll Probably Lose.

Jefferson Sanders (also known as DJ) played one of the stronger supporting roles in THE P.A.C.T. of Eric La Flabian. What I didn't know is that this dude is a machine at the gym. His upper body routine of which one of them is called "The Sweep" consists of over a minute of supporting/holding up his body weight while doing a series of aerial maneuvers without once touching the ground. In fact, once your feet touch the ground its over. Either stop or repeat the entire routine which is done in varying sets and reps.
Just take a look at the routines below and tell me this isn't one of the most intense non-Olympic workouts ever.

HEY EVERYONE!

On Saturday, April 14th, 2012 THE P.A.C.T. will premiere at Anthology Film Archives hosted by New Filmmakers NY. Their Short Film Program will start at 7:15pm although they will open around 6pm to show that nights documentary. The entire night's theme will pivot around mental health issues and the problems that can occur when those issues are not dealt with correctly. There will be something there for everyone from drama to comedy and it will only cost $6.00 to get in that night to watch all those films. WOOHOO!!!
