December started off eff'd up! For months I have been planning to move from my apartment back to the family house after Mom's passing. I had to be out by December 1st. I got out but because I had been in the apartment for close to 16 years damage had been done, and I didn't get my deposit back! Years of smoking and (spray) painting projects had taken their toll.
To add to the mix, December 1st, I got word back from MGM executive that even though she really thought highly of HUMAN GAME The Series her team didn't think that it fit the slate for their upcoming projects. So, after revamping the series Bible and the pilot script it was a "no go"!!!
On a high note, my children's book, THE KAFUNKULITUS OF THE FUNKULUS was released!!! I wrote it back in January 2005 but had shelfed it thinking that it was not marketable and was just a fun creative exercise. Fortunately for me, my sister was going through some of my mother's old papers and came across a word-only manuscript of the book. She said it was funny and that I should draw pictures for it. I shocked her when I said that I had already drawn pictures and assembled a hard copy of the book years ago. Long story short, she told me to publish it, so I scanned and sent a copy to several publishers. Luck would have it that the publisher that I had been using for my script/books gave me a GREAT deal on turning it into an Amazon book. I took it and now it's out!!!

Next year, I plan to move forward with these projects and push even harder to MANIFEST SOME LONG-TERM GOALS!!! Just wait and see!!! But for now, relax and enjoy the holidays... And if possible, buy a book or two for some holiday reading... Depending on your taste.
