This film is based on the same 1963 film of the same name. The cool thing is that I believe that film was based on a real incident that occurred in 1800s in Japan.

I Love It at the end of the trailer when the angry yet focused dude wipes his sword off on his sleeve. Sort of utilitarian, sort of In-Your-Face/Whatcha-Gonna-do, completely COOL.
