Making a decision on The Lepidopteran or HG3

 It came to my attention that some of the actors slated to read in the zoom meeting felt more comfortable with reading HG3 instead of The Lepidopteran. I listened to them and now I must make a decision.

With the zoom reading just a few weeks away if we change up now we will still be able to put on a good show.

Planning a zoom reading LIVE for The Lepidopteran

 I got a few actors together and I am planning on doing a reading for The Lepidopteran for social media to get people interested in seeing this one made!!! I have not figured out what platform to use but hopefully it will get a great response! Mid January seems to be when it comes together!!!

 Yeah I forgot to mention that this year had some Love ❤️ of a different kind!!! Earlier in the year Spike Lee liked some of my comments on his FB page and around his Summer celebration awarded me with the Top Fan Badge!!! So Cool!!! Tia Carrere did the same thing last week!!!! So Fricken Cool!!! Rock on!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS And An Update On Next Year!!!

 First of all HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone!!! This year had some Great moments in it like winning so many awards and placing into so many competitions with my script Human Game 3. If I could afford to enter more I would!! But alas the year is coming to an end and new ideas and projects are afoot! 

So here’s a sneak peek of next year. I have already started writing two scripts and a book! I plan to complete them by early to mid 2022! Also, I entered a few competitions and film funding contests to see if they can help me make HG3... that’s if it doesn’t get picked up by some other filmmaking company!!! It is a Great concept for a series and should be made... God willing!!!

I should be chiming in with you around the Christmas Eve with a link to my interview with The SIFF! So until then I am wishing you all Peace, Love and Safety this holiday season!!

I Almost Forgot Wallachian Award

 I was looking at my Instagram and saw the interview with Wallachia Film 🎞 Festival that I did when I won the award for Best Screenplay (HG3)!!! And that was when I never posted it or anything about the award 🥇 on my blog back in September!!! My Mother’s Latest Production

 My Mother has written over 88 Gospel and inspirational songs! She felt creative and wrote a skit based on the Biblical story of the widow and the pot of oil. Loving her I supplied the talent and cinematographer... and her creation took life... here it is!!!

I just found the teaser trailer I made over 15 years ago for my first script called DISPLACED!!! The script can be found online at Coverfly.com and in the collection of scripts called THE ZEN COOKBOOK AND OTHER BIZARRE SCREENPLAYS. I recommend that you go to Coverfly to get/download the script in its true format because the publisher at the time the book was released did not have Final Draft formatting and created their own structure.

VMAs Audience Clips

 So a young lady named Kayla H. who works for MTV offered me 4 tickets to the VMAs at the last minute. Of course, I accepted and had the ULITIMATE MUSIC EXPERIENCE!!! We were literally a few feet from one of  the stage sides (seeing that the stage was a circle that filled the Barclay Center in Brooklyn).  Instead of explaining the clips I am just going to post them over time and let you explore what you like!!! But here’s some pictures of the outside of the event. Greg Chater (in pink shirt) joined us that night... Hilarious... just a few minutes before I took his picture Paris Hilton drove by waving to us in a lime green Mini Cooper! That’s hot! LOL 😂

Would Love To Have This Made Into A Series

 I wrote a script about 15 years ago for about $2000 and turned it into a 20 minute short film about 10 years ago. It was based on the real teams of mental health care workers who service the tristate area helping the mentally disabled and ill.

I wrote this story about I and my brother growing up in the worst of conditions and later in life just before he passed. When I got ill I started to have misjudgments about him.

HG3 is on the Red List

On Coverfly's Red List HG3 is ranked 20 overall with it being ranked 12 in the past year and 2 in the past month!!!! Also, for Web series it is ranked #3 and is in top 42% on Coverfly

Some placement news for HG3 and other thoughts.

As most of you loyal readers know HG3 (Human Game 3) was postponed until the Fall but that has only encouraged me to push the script more! So, I have been entering it into competitions and festivals. As you have read it has been winning and placing in those competitions. One that I recently occurred was through Coverfly. It was The Filmmatic Short Screenplay Awards where it made the Quarterfinals. Now, I have other scripts that I have been pushing but finance has been an issue. I am concerned for the production in the Fall as well. I am truly hoping that some studio/production company picks up the script and wants to make it for lack of a better phrase or option. So, put your prayers and mojos on it and stay frosty in all this heat! LOL N8
