Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. My sister even tagged along and pushed mom’s music company which now belongs to the family.

As some of you know I will be attending the Union Public Library's Grand Opening (on the second day of a weekend long Grand Opening) Sunday June 8 at 12pm -2pm. The coolest thing is that I will bring several copies of my books to the opening to give away!!! One of my darkest books is called *BEEP* but it is actually based on an earlier book called BOY.

Kinda Kicking It Solo

 After the passing of my mother, I (taking in account her final messages) feel the need to fly solo in certain areas of my life. I am still accessible but starting new ventures need special attention and I trust myself more than others at this point. However, I am looking for new opportunities for future collaborations and will never forget those that have been helpful to me. Time is the best resource for healing and growth! I’ll rebalance and rebound soon!!!

Sunday Morning Revelation Email Sent to Cast and Crew of THE CHOICE

 Below is the letter I sent to THE CHOICE cast and crew.

Cast & Crew

I have done some soul searching to clear up my feelings about the film project and have come to the conclusion that it should end. My Mother's passing was difficult and some of the things she communicated before her passing about family and what I was supposed to do and had done was unpleasant. I was hurt, but there were other factors. 

The project had creative differences. I was told that my shooting style was inappropriate for the project and it would have to change amongst other things. This would mean a longer shoot schedule with days being only on weekends; literally 3 to potentially 4 more months of shooting. I am not used to this and asked other directors if they would take over, but none responded.

More importantly my HEART and HEAD are not into this project anymore and I told the producers that if they wanted to find a new director that they could.

Also, the project had financial difficulties. The investor who was supposed to finance the project in the second quarter panicked when Trump put in tariffs and they took major losses. They informed me that it would take more time to get funds which is/was more time that we would have to wait and probably not receive all that we need.

So, the film project has been cancelled. Please claim your IMDb pages before I am required to take it down. 

EVERYONE who worked on the days of MONDAY MARCH 10 & SATURDAY MARCH 15 will get paid although it may take a month or so. Some of you, already got paid for those days and I will be sending out the next payments after contracts expire on MAY 23.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Everything happens for a reason, but why should we suffer more than necessary for something that the Universe didn't want to manifest... Just yet...

GARLIC TRICK!!!

For those of you who eat garlic cloves there's a trick I learned back in 2000 that makes it easier to use.

Take individual cloves and separate them. Put each individual clove in microwave for 5-10 seconds on high and the outer husk comes off with ease. It may be hot to the touch but after it cools you have a soft and tender ready to eat piece of garlic. 

Don't overheat in microwave because garlic will become chewy.

W. Lee Waire On April 11th

 On April 11th, 2025, my mother passed away in the early predawn hours. She was 88 and had suffered a lot. Just 5 days before, her older sister Inez, passed on April 7th. And just this morning our beloved bird of about a year decided to crossover... so many transitions in LIFEFORCE energy has me contemplating some major changes.

I know that two of God's extremely loyal children are with Him on a higher level and that includes our beloved pet.  

I am still healing from both passings and the pet's passing only adds to the emotional turmoil.

If you are reading this, send Good Energy and prayers to me and my family.

THE CHOICE Will Be Filming at COMMUNITY CAFE In Union!!

 The generous co-owners Michelle (not pictured below), Cindy (in the gray sweater), and Salka'Tula (in the bright hat) are allowing us to film at their location during March and April. These wonderful ladies all have South American and Caribbean roots which is reflected in the cuisine at their coffee shop. They make everything you'd want for breakfast, lunch, or a delicious snack. They also serve wonderful pastries from Edo's Bakery (a local favorite)!!! They're open Thursday - Sunday starting at 10am so stop on by for some "GOOD EATS AND TASTY DRINKS"!!!

COMPELLING (Thiago's Mix) And How It Got Me My USPTO Trademark For SAPIEN FILMS

Since Oct 2023, I've been trying to get my SAPIEN FILMS logo trademarked, but the specimens I kept sending to get the logo verified were constantly rejected. That was until I put the url for one of my first short films called COMPELLING. Now, I can use my logo officially in film which I will for my first feature length called THE CHOICE. NEVER DELETE OLD VIDEOS!!! Because if it wasn't for this video on my YouTube I'd probably still be trying to get the USPTO to accept this symbol of my Spiritual and business life. Look for it in their official online mag on February 18th.

Here’s the news!!!!

 After a whirlwind of events, it actually became possible to animate our next project using the Unreal Engine (5)!!! So that means we’ll invest in Rokoko equipment to capture the live performance of my actors who are slated to be in the film!!!

We’re still working on details but that’s the latest news!!! I’ll let you know what the animation company located in Texas tells us in the upcoming week!!!

So, I and my business partner after brainstorming are promoting our next film (THE CHOICE) by giving away walk-on roles in the production. There's one catch!!! Early Concept Art Before The Creation of The Lepidopteran

August 31st The Lepidopteran Book Will Be Joined By 4 More Scripts!!!

 At the end of May, my sci-fi dramedy script The Lepidopteran was released as a book on Amazon thanks to the competition from Dizzy Emu Publishing!!!! What I did not know was that they run the competitions back-to-back! So, when I found this out, I immediately entered my scripts The Choice and *BEEP* into the competition! When funds are ready I’ll enter two more scripts and they’ll be The Lepidopteran 2&3!! If you like the first one then you’ll get a kick out of the second and third in the series of 4 scripts in The Lepidopteran series!!! I’m so excited to see my scripts in print as a means of exposure for my company (SAPIEN FILMS) and so that people can see the extent of my writing ability!
